A birthday was celebrated recently here (but I won’t tell you which one) and to my surprise a brand new bike was sitting in my backyard just waiting for me to ride all over my “city by the sea”. When a tip came into my inbox today about a website called Bikely, I of course couldn’t wait to see what it was about. First off, this site is sooo cool. Here, quite simply, is how it works: bicyclists can go on it and share their favorite bike rides with others or download one that’s already been posted. Don’t forget to check out the tipsters notes along the way about scenic views, steep hills and what to look out for like construction work. If you’re traveling and looking for something to do, check out Bikely because you can search for bike rides all over the world.
